【摘要】:Thefunctionofthistestmethodistoprovidenumericalinstrumentalresultsindicatingthecohesiveoradhesive,orboth,bondstrengthofthermoplastictrafficmarkingtoaspecifiedcementbricksubstrate.Theuseofthistestmethodallowstheuserandmanufacturertocontrolthequalityoftheproductandmakeinferencesabouttheperformanceofthethermoplastictrafficmarkingproduct.Resultsfromthesetestsalsoprovideinformationhelpfulinresearchinganddevelopingthermoplastictrafficmarkingmaterials.Strictadherencetotheproceduresoutlinedisnecessaryforprecisionofthetestmethod.Undernoconditionsshouldthebondstrengthbeacceptedunlessthereisconformanceto9.14.Preciseresultsareobtainedonlywhenonesteelblockisepoxiedtothethermoplastictrafficmarkingonthecementbrick.FIG.1BondStrengthTestingApparatus1.1Thistestmethodprovidesaninstrumentalmeansforthedeterminationofthermoplastictrafficmarkingmaterialbondstrengthsusingcementbricksandsteelcubes.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
