【摘要】:Thistestmethoddescribesanextraction/gravimetricprocedurefordeterminationoftheamountofhexanesolublelowmolecularweightmaterialpresentinpolyethylene,polypropylene,ethylene-propylenecopolymers,andethylene-vinylacetatecopolymers.ThistestmethodisamodificationoftheFoodandDrugAdministration(FDA)procedurefordetermininghexaneextractablesofpolyolefins.Thistestmethodisbaseduponthepresumptionthattheweightoftheresidueextractpresentinthesolventisequaltotheamountextractedfromthefilmsampleandcouldthereforebequantifiedbymeasuringtheweightlossoftheextractedfilm,eliminatingthecomplexandtime-consumingevaporationprocessdescribedin21CFR177.1520.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Unitsusedin21CFR177.1520areaslousedinthistestmethhod.UnitsareinconformancewithFederalCode21CFR177.1520,fromwhichthistestmethodisderived.Note1-ThereisnosimilarorequivalentISOstandard.
