【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusedtoproducetransversetensilepropertydataformaterialspecifications,researchanddevelopment,qualityassurance,andstructuraldesignandanalysis.Factorswhichinfluencethetransversetensileresponseandshould,therefore,bereportedare:material,methodsofmaterialpreparation,specimenpreparation,specimenconditioning,environmentoftesting,specimenalignmentandgripping,speedoftesting,voidcontent,andfibervolumefraction.Properties,inthetestdirection,whichmaybeobtainedfromthistestmethodinclude:5.1.1TransverseTensileStrength,5.1.2TransverseTensileStrainatFailure,5.1.3TransverseTensileModulusofElasticity,E22,and5.1.4Poissonrsquo;Ratio,x03C5;21.1.1Thistestmethoddeterminesthetransversetensilepropertiesofwoundpolymermatrixcompositesreinforcedbyhigh-moduluscontinuousfibers.Itdescribestestingofhoopwound(90176)cylindersinaxialtensionfordeterminationoftransversetensileproperties.1.2ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetext,theinch-poundunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
